Morrow Elementary School students were treated to the start of their annual PARP program this year by guest readers. Members of the Central Islip Board of Education, administrators, faculty, staff, retired teachers and elected officials read their favorite storybooks to students in their classrooms. Some guest readers opted for teachers to choose the books they would read. Guest Readers Day, coordinated by Elementary Teacher Maureen Esposito, is designed to encourage a love of reading in students. Morrow Elementary Principal Dr. Neema Coker welcomed the guest readers who met in the cafeteria for breakfast before starting their reading adventures with their assigned classes.
