The Technology Department also allows Faculty, Staff and Students the ability utilize free programs, iOS Apps, Web-based programs, and other non-installation based programs that while not supported, implemented or tied to district directory services are allowed so long as they adhere to all district technology policies, the acceptable use policy and does not require any local software installation, does not require any browser extensions, does not interfere with any district initiatives and does not require access to directory services, powerschool services and/or violate any HIPPA, FERPA, CIPA legislations. 

EXAMPLES OF NON-DISTRICT/NON-OFFICIAL/NON-SUPPORTED PROGRAMS USED IN CLASSROOMS
These programs are not tied to any district support services, directory services and are used/maintained through faculty/staff sharing free internet resources. The District Technology Department/Technicians cannot provide support/training or manage these programs.
