Grant recipients included Central Islip School District teachers, coaches, club advisors, Women 2 Women, and local not-for-profits including Central Islip Youth Soccer, Islip Town Branch NAACP, Community Learning Academy and Economic Opportunity Council of Suffolk, to help fund programs of which children of the Central Islip School District will be the beneficiaries. Funds raised to support grants issued by I AM CI Foundation are raised from the Annual Dinner Social and affiliate sponsors. On hand to enjoy the grants ceremony was Mr. Phil Di Domenico of Suffolk Transportation Service, Inc. I AM CI Foundation Executive Director Barbara LaMonica and Executive Board Members Lois Scarlato (President), Fred Philips (1st Vice President), Marge Carney (2nd Vice President), Denise Ridgeway (Recording Secretary), Maureen Esposito (Corresponding Secretary), Arlene Philips (Treasurer), and Directors Betty Ceccarini, Michele Harriott, Tony Ceccarini and Allison Philips extend their sincere appreciation to this year's sponsors (Suffolk Transportation Service, Inc., Kevin A. Seaman, Esq., Network Outsource, TETRA TECH Architects & Engineers, Kevin and Deena Miller, guests who attended the Dinner Social, the Central Islip Board of Education, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Howard M. Koenig, Central Islip Teachers Association, Central Islip Building Principals Association, Central Islip Civil Service Employees Association, Central Islip Psychologists Association, Central Islip Public Library, YES-Youth Enrichment Services, Central Islip Civic Council, Islip Town Branch NAACP and Community Learning Academy for the support and participation they extended to this year's fundraiser. I AM CI Foundation was honored to recognize Mr. Tom Black, Mr. Dan Devine, Dr. Marie Holdsworth, Mr. Richard Iannuzzi, Mrs. Jenn Rotunda and Ms. Edna Teague for their commitment and dedication to the children of Central Islip.
