Reed Middle School Celebrates Moving Up 2019

Reed Middle School Principal Matthew Matera welcomed the Administration and families of the graduates. Superintendent of Schools Dr. Howard M. Koenig delivered a moving message to the 8th Graders, Mr. Matera offered special remarks, and guest speaker, Cesar Julca, who was born in Peru, spoke to the graduates about his life's lessons, his military tours of duty, and how he was able to achieve success during post service to our nation. Also attending the ceremony were School Board President Norman A. Wagner, school board members William G. Softy and Glenn C. Mitchell, Assistant Superintendent for Business Kevin M. Miller and Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction Sharon A. Dungee. The Central Islip Board of Education, Administration, Faculty and Staff congratulate Reed Middle School's 8th Grade Students as they prepare to move up to Central Islip High School.
