The Reed Middle School administration, faculty and staff organized an effort to gather a bounty of Thanksgiving meals to fill baskets that are being presented to 80 families in the school community! Reed Middle School Principal, Mr. Anthony Coggiano, acknowledged the Reed Middle School Family for their thoughtfulness to help make the Thanksgiving holiday much nicer for some of the Reed family neighbors. Contributions were made possible by a collaborative effort between the Town of Islip, the CI Community for Change, and Reed's faculty and staff. Pictured from Reed Middle School with only a portion of the many Thanksgiving turkeys, trimmings and desserts, are Mr. Coggiano, School Psychologist, Dr. Wendy Rothman; Social Worker, Ms. Dolores Martinez; Attendance Officer, Mr. Brian Watkis; Guidance Counselors Ms. Ericca Jones Marshall and Mig Cruz; Special Education Teacher, Mr. Jason Kaplan; Math Teacher, Mr. Wesley Oakes; Teacher Assistant, Mrs. Jewel Jones; and event co-organizers, Social Worker Interns, Ms. Adrienne Jones and Alex Kehoe.
