
Updates on testing for the 2020-2021 school year:
NYSED plans to make its Spring 2021 NYSESLAT Available for administration to those English Language Learners (ELLs) who are able to test in person (full memo include in COVID update folder below)
**NYSED has extended the administration dates:
NYSESLAT K-12:
Speaking Administration Dates April 19 – June 9
Listening Reading & Writing May 17 – June 9
NYSED is preparing fro Spring 2021 Grades 3-8 English Language Arts and Mathematics Assessments if the waiver is denied (full memo is included in COVID Update folder below)
- They have determined the assessments will be "school-based" and "in-person"
-They have made flexibilities such as:
*Only session 1 test questions
*Reduced length by removing field test questions

• English Language Arts
• Living Environment
• Physical Setting/Earth Science (Written Test, only)

Grade 4 Science: Due to school and district closures during the 2019-20 school year related to COVID-19, the last administration of the Grade 4 Elementary-Level Science Test will now take place in Spring 2021. (Please see documentation in COVID update folder below)
US History (Framework): The first administration of the new Regents Examination in United States History and Government (Framework) has been postponed until Tuesday, June 1, 2021. (Please see documentation in COVID update folder below)
